Russell Chappell has recently been appointed as Hotel Coachman’s Head Chef. Russell started his career over 17 years ago at one of London’s most prestigious five star hotels, The London Intercontinental. From this foundation he progressed onto a prestigious portfolio of Hotels, Restaurants and patisseries including Claridges and The House of Commons, where he was honoured to cook for the Queen
on numerous occasions.
Russell was part of the opening team for Sir Terence Conran’s
multimillion dollar Bluebird Restaurant complex situated on the
fashionable Kings Road and then finally becoming a Pastry Chef for the
award winning Bachmann’s Patisserie.
Russell has an impeccable CV that outlines his participation in the
London Competition circuit and he has won numerous Gold medals at the
world renowned Hotelympia Salon Culinaire. He has also been on the
committee for the association of pastry chefs and has given numerous
demonstrations and master classes on various pastry aspects.
